Jane Reporting for 6th September
Yesterday (6th September) we went around Balboa Island - a Jane and Gary visit Pete and Marilynne tradition. So much of a tradition here's a photo of Pete during his walk around the island with Gary during our first visit in May 2004.

Even the locals thought it was another (unseasonably) hot day so I stayed in the shopping centre, remarkably close to the ice cream shop(s), in fact. The others strolled around the island, looking at the views and houses.

Though I wasn't with them I see from Gary's photos that Lyn found herself a new boat.

We got home in time for Happy Hour before heading out to an Italian restaurant:

After dinner we went out for a walk along the beach boardwalk. A nice walk though the 'blokes' were definitely dawdling!
I won $1 from Lyn on a bet that Gary would check the phone messages we were sending trying to give them a hurry up. Gary does love his new iPhone. :o)
