Jane Reporting for 31st August / 1st September
Yesterday we left Palmie about 9am, pretty much on time despite Gary having to do a last-minute overhaul on my camera. A bit sad leaving 'the boys' behind.
Easy drive to Auckland in time to catch up with house sitters Anne and Lloyd before they went out for the evening then on to John and Wendy's place near the beach.

We went for a long walk along the beach and back through the streets. and then stayed up very late (for me) talking, talking, talking.

Checked the emails this morning only to find they won't download on the laptop. Grrr. Might have to wait until we get to the US to fix it.
I think there's something wrong with the date settings on the blog. It's the first of September but I think it will post for the 31 August.
Should work now I have set it back to NZ timezone. What will happen when we are o/sea? We may need to adjust the settings each time or just add a local date and time to blog.
ReplyDeleteI've been setting the dates of the posts manually to make them come on the right date for where we are. You can do the same.
