Not a very successful trip to New York. I only wanted to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art - actually, philistine that I am I really only wanted to visit the shop - and the train trip down the side of the Hudson was the highlight of the day. The only thing I ended up buying was some (very nice) blue cheese from the Grand Central Market.
