Day 4, April 29 - First full day at sea.

Today is an at sea day. Up early for some morning exercise before breakfast--a walk around the Promenade Deck.

Three and half laps as the sign tells me is 1 mile. This morning I did four laps. Of course, I was going to run but after reading the sign thought I had better stick to walking.

After breakfast, upstairs to the Exploration Cafe with the library and computers. Talked to the IT specialist, bought some internet time, and set up my iPad. Once the WiFi was operating I was off to my room see if signal extend there. Yes, so I finished my Blog for the 28th, connected, posted my blog and disconnected. The disconnection is important as 100 minutes is costing me $60 US.

Then off to the Queen's Lounge, the ships theatre at the front of the ship, two decks high and covering the full width of the ship. Here listen to a talk describing the ports we are visiting and the shore excursions then a quick lunch and a tour of the ship taking many photos.

The top deck looking forward with its sloping glass front that allows good forward vision while protecting you from the wind.

Now turning around and looking towards the stern, one deck lower are the moveable covers for the pool and seating area on the Lido deck below.

Proceeding down another deck we are on the Lido deck beside the pool and looking up at the moveable roof.

At the stern and out in the open on the same deck is the Sea View Pool. Ok, I know you see this photo was taken yesterday before we left port, but it is still the Sea View Pool.

Holland and America hosts a Facebook site for each of its cruises where passengers can communicate before the cruise starts. This afternoon a 3 pm the Facebookers met up beside the pool on the Lido deck . About twelve turned sitting in the heat we talked for about one and half hours. By this time we were all feeling the heat and most were of for a shower before dinner. Tonight dress code for the main dinning room is formal, so out with my jacket on on with a tie.

Tomorrow Oranjestad, Aruba.
