Things in my room - March 2

The room has a few useful items starting with the TV that is not only viewable from the room seating and bed but by virtue bathroom glass wall can be seen while soaking in the bath. The sound in the bathroom is fully adjustable.
The large screen HD TV.
The TV has a full selection of input so most portable devices can be connected.

The bedside table has mobile phone for use in or out of the hotel with  unlimited 3G internet, Hong Kong city guide, WiFi hotspot tethering and free international calls to Australia, China, Singapore, UK, and the US. Next to the mobile is a two port USB charger and a digital clock radio.

There is a good size write desk complete with a rather complex telephone and very bright LED desk lamp.  The only drawback with the desk was being completely see through and you had to have mat for my optical mouse.

Then at the low tech end, but very necessary for me, was the lang handle shoe horn.

Nasi goring – March 1

Last night after returning from the market I had a meal sent up to my room.  Nasi goring and half bottle of Siglo de Oro  Santa Helena Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, just to be pedantic.  The meal, delivered in twenty-five minutes consisted of two chicken satays, two beef satays, two chicken wings, soup bowl of Nasi goring with shrimps, topped with a nicely fried egg, and three dipping sources--one an extra thick soya.  Sorry, the only photo I have is the one I took after I discovered how extremely delicious it all was.
The remains of a glorious meal.
